I have a pod coffee maker to keep myself from drinking a whole pot of coffee every morning. I love the stuff! Unfortunately, most coffee pods produce pretty weak coffee. This is bolder than most coffee pods, and has pretty good flavor. Of the reasonably priced coffee pods, i would rank these pretty high, but I can't say that they make great coffee. Additionally, in at least one of the bags I received, one pod had opened and spilled grounds throughout the bag - which made quite a mess and made it difficult to use the other pods. These pods can also be an easy way to make cold brewed coffee. This item is also available through Amazon's subscribe and save program, which saves money and helps to make sure you never run out of precious caffeine.

I love my coffee dark and enjoy the nice "foam" that is produced from my Senseo pods.

Douwe Egberts is a very good Dutch coffee house, but everything they've sent me in the States is stale. I've complained, and they tell me I'm wrong. Oh, well.
The coffee should be excellent, but it's only so-so.
I love the Senseo system, though, and I recommend Melitta's coffee pods. They taste better, and they smell way fresher.
Here's the scoop with the Senseo system: It's WAY easier and neater than a non-pod system. Little counter space. Nice hot foamy cups of coffee. Taste? I love good coffee, found the taste adequate, and after trying everything, use Melitta. The coffee in pods is more expensive on the face of it, but given the lack of wasted coffee, makes reasonable sense economically. We bought our Senseo maker for 10 bucks at a thrift shop. Then we bought one for 60 bucks at a store for my sister as a Christmas present. We are believers.
Douwe Egberts is pronounced by the Dutch "doovay ai-bear." We pronounce it at home "Dewey Egg-berts." Take your choice.

I love my Senseo coffee maker and the coffee is very good too. The Kona is especially delicious in this variety pack and I will buy more. I'm going to try a different variety pack next time that also has the Kona.

I'm not sure why all the reviews are saying you need 2 pods. The first time I used it I didn't use the holder for the pods and it was horrible. But when I used the holders, and you have to make sure you use 1 pod or 2 pods, the coffee was excellent. It has a light foam on top and it's just like going to Starbucks.I wet the pod in water first, heat up my almond milk and brew it.Its very easy.I use the Senseo dark roast.
