The Brazil French Press coffee maker, designed in the early 80's, was our first coffee maker and quickly became a symbol of what Bodum stands for. Attractive and functional design at an affordable price. The Brazil has an ultra-light, heat-resistant borosilicate glass beaker and a polypropylene handle and base, which make the Brazil easy to use and easy to clean. The 3-part stainless steel plunger has a fine mesh filter, which allows for a premium extraction of your coffee’s aromatic oils and subtle flavors. A mesh filter allows this flavor to be delivered direct to your cup and not absorbed by a paper filter. Plus, no paper filter means no waste. The patented safety lid prevents the splashing of liquids while pressing. All parts are dishwasher safe. This 8-cup coffeemaker is (1.0 l, 34oz.) in size and is also available in 3-cup (0.35 l, 12 oz) size model.

far better deal than Starbucks! Quick & easy to use. Get yourself an electric kettle and a digital kitchen timer and it's child's play making the best coffee ever.

I received mine about a week ago. It is easy to use, and the coffee is superb.
I liked it so much that I ordered another to give to my brother in law who is a coffee lover also.
I prefer my coffee cold, so after I make a batch, I just put the whole thing in the fridge.
I would recommend this to anyone who likes good coffee.

We had another Bodum press we got at starbucks that was just the glass beaker that you slid into the metal frame and it broken incredibly easily. Luckily this entire thing can be thrown in the dishwasher and it's not nearly as delicate.

the bodum french press is a nice a one but next time i should get one a little bit less plastic. Although the vase and the press isnt plastic the support is and the coffee enters in contact with the plastic when you turn the coffee to a mug it touched the plastic of the cover. Besides that the holder is not only cheap plastic (even with a some plastic in excess from the machine that injected the plastic during the fabric) as it seems really fragile and not hold with perfection the vase. A four stars review is given since it is really cheap and the coffee is nice. But for a little bit more you could take a completely non plastic model.
