Great inexpensive grinder, I've only had it a month but love the grind, fine to brew comes out consistent.

This is the second DBM8 I've owned. The first one lasted about three months, and this one just cratered today after three months as well. I don't grind that much coffee, about 5# per month, this grinder should have lasted MUCH longer. I really like the features, but I don't want to continue to replace it every few months, so I'll look for another brand.

Having had several burr grinders before, this one wins hands down. My previous ones did not have lids so coffee dust and grounds were kind of messy. The various grind selections are also good. All in all price wise as well as the finished product are great.

Grinds perfectly. Nice companion to the Cuisinart Brew Central. We only use copper filters and have no problem. Bought an additional one for our 5th wheel and also one for our daughter. She loves it!
Oh and yes it makes noise when it is working. Guess some people did not realize that! :)

This stopped working for me after a few months. And while it was working, I was unimpressed. My roommate had a capresso burr grinder, and when he moved out, I thought i'd save some money and buy the cuisinart. Waste of money. First of all, it just doesn't grind quite as finely as I would like for espresso. Second, it is a freaking mess and really hard to use without getting grinds all over the place. Third, the grounds are not all of a consistent size.
All in all, I ended up buying a capresso after all and I am pleased.
